Share the Table- with Barilla

Cyber-bullying: “when the Internet, cell phones or other devices are used to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person.” As defined by the National Crime Prevention Council.

Obsession: “a persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling; broadly : compelling motivation.” As defined by Merriam-Webster.

Cyber-Stalking: “is the use of the internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group of individuals, or an organization. It may include false accusations, monitoring, making threats, identity theft, damage to data or equipment, the solicitation of minors for sex, or gathering information in order to harass“. As defined by Bocij, Paul. Cyberstalking: Harassment in the Internet Age and How to Protect Your Family. Praeger, 2004, p. 14.

Cyber-Stalking is also quoted as “When identifying cyberstalking “in the field,” and particularly when considering whether to report it to any kind of legal authority, the following features or combination of features can be considered to characterize a true stalking situation: malice, premeditation, repetition, distress, obsession, vendetta, no legitimate purpose, personally directed, disregarded warnings to stop, harassment, and threats.” By CyberAngels.

Harass: “1.to disturb persistently; torment, as with troubles or cares; bother continually; pester; persecute. 2.to trouble by repeated attacks, incursions, etc., as in war or hostilities; harry; raid”. As defined by Dictionary.com
