Today, my little kindergartener, my little 6 year old girl had the opportunity to share her talent with her class.
She said she was nervous, but followed her drum teacher’s advice: “If you get nervous, concentrate on playing your set, nothing else matters”.
I think she rocked it. I couldn’t be more proud.

And it’s past her bed time on a school night! She’s getting to see Todd Sucherman from Styx play a drum clinic.
I’ll accept my mom-of-the-year award now…
