How to Pack Disney Princess Costumes

Default post image

It’s no secret that my family and I love Disney World, especially my daughter who is a HUGE Disney Princess fan. She always looks forward to dressing up in the parks as her favorite princesses, which means a lot of packing on my part. Disney Princess costumes are always very full (high quality!) and glittery. Those who have had the experience of being near a Disney Princess costume know how messy the glitter can become- it seems to stick to everything. Packing these dresses can become a bit of a challenge because they can take up a lot of valuable room in your luggage, and the glitter can get all over other items (my husband isn’t a fan of his clothes being covered in glitter).

I have come up with a quick and easy solution to packing those dresses! First, I use any gallon-sized storage bag. I’m using …Continue Reading…

It’s that time of year- travel tips, tricks and products to make your life easier!

One thing that I am very proud of, is that my daughter (5) is a GREAT traveler.

I think it’s because as a family, we’ve done quite a bit of traveling since she was 3 months old. Whether it be by air or car (we still haven’t hit that cruise yet) she’s always been very happy even in the 9 hour car rides or the 4 hour layovers.

You can start this process by 2 weeks before departure, cutting your child’s bed-time back by 15 minutes every 3 days. Your child will adjust because their bodies cannot tell 15 …Continue Reading…

Disney Dining. I’m up, so why not?

This morning, it was within my time frame to book my 180-day Disney Dining Reservations. After 3 months of planning, I finally got to book where I’m going to eat in 6 months. While I’m not a fan of this much of an early reservation system (I miss you, my 90 day system!), it’s a necessary evil if you want to book some good places. The booking system online opened at 6:00am, and the phone lines opened at 7:00am. I was on at 6:00am planning most of our reservations, and on at 7:00am with a cast member to book some of the special events (like Bippidy Boppidy Boutique and Hoop de Doo).

So here’s my plan: …Continue Reading…

What to pack for a Disney vacation

Or rather, what not to pack.

When planning on a Disney vacation, most people (first timers) over-pack and forget the fact that:

1) Airlines charge you for your checked baggage.

2) Airlines charge you for over-weight checked baggage.

3) Some airline charge you for carry-on luggage.

4) Airlines aren’t charging for breathing air at the time that I’ve …Continue Reading…
