Domestic Debacle is going to Blogher ‘10 and needs your help! For those that don’t know, Blogher is a very popular event as well as the largest convention for bloggers and brands to network, socialize, build stronger online communities and form lasting relationships. Being able to attend the conference with the assistance of sponsors not only helps me build new relationships and strengthen existing ones, but it’s an excellent way to get your business, product or service noticed by the Internet’s most influential social networkers and bloggers in the world! By sponsoring me for the conference, you would be hiring someone who will work her butt off to get your name out there and who will properly represent your company and brand. Not to mention that through DomesticDebacle.com you’ll be reaching an average of 15,800 visitors per month, and over 7,900 subscribers (current as of 2/28/10). I also have over 200 Facebook Fans and more than 1,900 Twitter followers!

What is Blogher ‘10 anyway?

Blogher is one of the largest conventions for bloggers and businesses to network and create relationships. During the convention there will be speakers that share their expertise on leadership, micro blogging, mommy blogging, social media, SEO, publishing, online networking and keynote speakers. There will also be down time during the convention where bloggers and companies can meet together and connect, promote and exchange ideas.

Building on the momentum of four consecutive sold-out annual conferences, BlogHer ’10 will bring bloggers from every corner of the blogosphere together for hands-on learning, rich discussions, opportunities to meet with the brands that support them and plentiful networking opportunities. BlogHer ’10 will take place on August 6-7, bringing nearly two thousand attendees together.

One of the number one reasons we all attend BlogHer every year, whether coming for the first time or as an old-timer, is to meet our online community “in real life”. It is a great time to celebrate the fact that our blogging, whether personal, professional or political, has brought us real work, real friends, real satisfaction and is most definitely a significant part of our real life!

BlogHer is open to anyone and everyone who considers themselves part of the blogosphere; BlogHer is particularly focused on highlighting the skills and talents of women who blog. All genders, ages, ethnicities, and levels of blogging experience are encouraged to attend! We promise there’s something for everyone. (And in case you’re curious, about 10-15% of attendees are men.)

The Blogher ’10 conference is being held in New York City at the Hilton New York and will take place on August 6-7, 2010,but most people will show up on Thursday August 5th. A full conference pass includes admission to all conference programming, meals and cocktail receptions on Friday and Saturday.  pre=”">Attendes staying at the Hilton New York, where all the action takes place, receive a specially negotiated Blogher room rate of $199/night. Full sponsorship $1750

  • Exclusive representation by Domestic Debacle at the event;
  • 500px x 100px Above the Scroll advertising banner (above first post) from time funds are received until close of event;
  • 400px x 200px advertising included in every Blogher ‘10 related post;
  • 300px x 100px in post advertising included in 2 random posts per week from time of funds are received until close of event;
  • 125px x 125px advertising for one (1) year;
  • Network on your behalf (talking about your product/services) while at event with over 2000 attendees;
  • Distribution of your business cards and/or product literature during the event. I will also handout product samples if you want me to;
  • 5″ x 5″ advertising on the backside of my laptop skin from time funds are received to event close (skin will also be displayed at all events prior to Blogher ‘10);
  • Brand promotion through apparel; Polo/T-shirt branding for entire time at the conference (up to 5″ x 5″);
  • Laptop bag branding (3″ X 3″) during the event;
  • Blog posts about your company prior to the event;
  • At least 3 Domestic Debacle blog posts per day from the event devoted to the Blogher experience. All posts will include a 400px x 200px sponsor thank you ad;
  • Dedicated section about your product, company and sponsorship in special post Blogher ‘10 event wrap-up post.
  • Live Twitter tweet updates throughout BlogHer ‘10 that include link to your company;
  • Live TwitPics from the event that include a Sponsored by link to your company;
  • Weekly #followfriday Tweet devoted to just your company from the date funds are received until end of 2010;
  • One (1) pre-event thank you Twitter tweet.

 

Half Sponsorship $1000 (Blogher ‘10 only)

  • 250px x 250px Above the scroll sidebar advertising for 6 months;
  • 300px x 100px in post advertising on every Blogher ‘10 related post;
  • 300px x 100px in post advertising included in 1 random post per week from time of funds are received until close of event;
  • Network on your behalf (talking about your product/services) while at event;
  • Distribution of your business cards and/or product literature during the event. I will also handout product samples if you want me to;
  • 3″ x 3″ company branding space on my laptop skin from time funds are received to event close (skin will also be displayed at all events prior to Blogher ‘10);
  • Brand promotion through apparel; Polo/T-shirt branding for entire time at the conference (up to 5″ x 5″);
  • Laptop bag branding (3″ X 3″) during the event;
