A few of my favorite things: The TimeMug

Today I am featuring an item that I absolutely love, and can’t live without! The TimeMug is a stylish, affordable and practical coffee mug for both men and women who are on the go! Especially for those who can’t or don’t like to wear watches.

TimeMug’s patented design is a 16-ounce, DISHWASHER SAFE (yeah moms, I totally yelled this- because it’s true!!) time-telling mug that is ideal for both hot and cold beverages. It has a tapered bottom, so it fits in even the strangest cup holder. I drive a Chevy Trailblazer which has the smallest cup holders that I’ve ever seen, and the TimeMug fits perfectly!

The TimeMug also comes in a pretty package, and just needs a bow to top it off. It literally makes the best and easiest gift!

Available in 17 colors across several collections (though there aren’t any polka dots-yet!), TimeMug is perfect for on-the-go moms, dads, executives, teachers and everyone in between who wants to make a fashion statement.

The TimeMug has been featured in the media on outlets such as the Today Show and E News, they are popular with many celebrities and also make a great holiday gift. All of my “teacher friends” love my TimeMug, and I can’t go anywhere without getting a compliment on it. Also, TimeMug’s Hope collection supports breast cancer awareness! It’s a mug that does good.

A real celebrity. Holding the TimeMug. For real.

At the moment, Domestic Debacle readers can get a 20% discount by using the code: domestic in checkout!

I love a great savings!

International Delight’s Iced Coffee: Making Mornings Easy!

Default Image

(Photo Credit: International Delight’s Iced Coffee Facebook page)

Recently I was asked by Mom Central to have an International Delight’s Iced Coffee party for my friends! I was so excited to be chosen as a host, because I have a slight addiction to coffee (honestly, I can’t start my day without it).

My friends and I were already planning a day-trip to COSI in Columbus, Ohio (about an hour and a half drive from here) so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to share International Delight’s Iced Coffee for our drive! It was a tasty and inexpensive way to get our day started!

My friends and I tried International Delight’s Vanilla and Original Iced Coffees (in some really great travel cups funded by the campaign). Both fit perfectly in our cooler, traveled really well and each carton cost about the same as one iced coffee at those “coffee shops”. It was great having International Delight’s Iced Coffee with us to stop and get refills without having to wait in line! This was a HUGE perk to us, considering we had 7 kids with us that were all excited to get the (early) day started.

After trying both flavors (Vanilla and Original- they also have a Mocha that I can’t wait to try) Original won the group’s vote by a landslide! We all thought it tasted just like the expensive designer coffee shop iced coffees!

What I love most about the International Delight’s Iced Coffee is how versatile they are. International Delight has come up with so many ways to make different recipes! You can check them out and be a part of the conversation (and don’t forget SAVE!) at International Delight’s Facebook page.

Give them a try- you’ll be glad you did! International Delight’s Iced Coffees are so delicious, and they’re really great for those on the go!

I wrote this review while participating in an In Home Party campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of International Delight and received product samples to facilitate my party and review, and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Girls Crochet Headbands: A fashionable review and giveaway!

Default Image

Recently I was asked by Girls Crochet Headbands to do a review and giveaway for them. Little did I know that they soon would become my FAVORITE new online store for girls’ and women accessories (if you’re looking for the perfect pin-up flower that photographs well at an amazing price, definitely check them out)! Obviously I love them for their prices, but I also love them for their customer service. They are very active on Facebook and Twitter– answering questions and keeping you up to date on their latest products. They’re also all over Pinterest (hello, lovah!). I love love their pins, so make sure you follow their boards!

When I received the bows, flowers, headbands and hat I was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. So much so, that I actually went to their website and ordered more (yes, on my own dime-full disclosure FTW!). The prices are CRAZY awesome! I bought a hat, one flower, two bows and one headband for $10 and that included shipping! FOR REAL!

So here’s what I received for my review:

Large White Bow

Halloween Flower Clip

Gerber Daisy Three Tone Flower Clip

Gerber Daisy Hot Pink/Zebra Flower Clip

Which you can also check out my kiddo wearing them in my photo below! They are absolutely adorable, photograph well and are stunning in person. My daughter gets compliments all the time about them. Honestly, we can’t go anywhere without someone stopping us to tell her how pretty her bow and/or flower is! The colors are bright and they are put together very well (the quality is consistent). They all have alligator clips, which at first I was really worried about (M has super-thick hair) but they are quite “grippy” and hold all day long- through school, drum lessons- all the way to bed time! M also says they’re very comfortable to wear. She says they’re light and they hold well so she doesn’t worry about them falling out at all, even on the playground.

and I also received the Black Kufi Hat which is so versatile! I love how you can add any bow or flower to it. We had a lot of fun playing around with it. The kufi hat really is the best fall accessory, and comes in so many colors! We loved it so much, that we ordered a pink one. BUT (and here’s my only complaint) the sizing wasn’t consistent. The black kufi hat was quite a bit smaller than the pink, and both times we ordered a large. They do stretch, but the pink was considerably larger. But I wouldn’t let that stop you from ordering it, because like I mentioned, they stretch to fit.

UPDATE: 9/13 2:22pm Girls Crochet Headbands sent me this comment (which just PROVES how awesome their customer service is!): “Just a note about the sizing on the Kufi hats. They are all handmade and do vary some in size. We also get them from a couple of different manufacturers so when they come in, we sort them in size groups as close as we can to each other, but you are right – there are variations! And you are also right that they stretch”.

Now for the giveaway: one winner will receive 5 items of their choice from GirlsCrochetHeadbands.com! All you have to do is…
1) Mandatory: Head over to the Girls Crochet Headbands website and look around. Then come back here and leave a comment telling me what your favorite GCH item is (I know, it’s hard to narrow it down!).

For extra entries you can also:

2) “Like”GCH on Facebook, then leave a separate comment letting me know you did.

3) Follow GCH on Pinterest (they’re pinning so many awesome things!) and leave me a separate comment letting me know you did.

4) Follow GCH on Twitter and leave me a separate comment letting me know you did.

*A winner will be chosen at 10:00am on Friday, September 21st by Random.org. Good luck!

**I was provided with the above items to facilitate my review.

Pony Royale: Super cute ponies coming to a Toys R Us near you!

Default Image

This post is sponsored by Pony Royale. I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective, and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

My daughter and I were recently asked by Clever Girls Collective to review Pony Royale. There are 12 ponies in all, each having their own unique birthstone, personality and style! M received two ponies to review- Lavender the Alexandrite Pony and Sky the Sapphire Pony:

She was so excited to check them out. Both packages were pretty easy to open, which from a  parent’s perspective is priceless. With two of the Pony Royale ponies, M can make over 60 different styles. Their fashions, tiaras, manes and tails all slide and pop out so each pony can be customized to your child’s liking. Plus, each pony comes with TWO sets of Change-It-Up hair and a brush. My daughter LOVES this because she likes to change everything up. All the time. Each pony comes with a birthstone blaze, so if you’re looking for a truly unique birthday gift for a special little girl, this is it!

You can also check out their great video below. My daughter has watched it about a thousand times already and still isn’t tired of it:

Each Pony Royale pony encourages creative, fashion and nurturing play, while helping with fine motor-development (pinch and slide techniques). They are all made very well, but have the “look” of a very delicate princess pony. I find that my daughter is very careful when playing with her ponies because she “wants to keep them nice”.

Visit the Pony Royale website for more information. Look for Princess Ponies in stores starting late July! Meanwhile, be sure to check out Pony Royale’s Facebook page and follow them on Twitter!

My daughter would spend hours there if I would let her. She loves spending time reading and learning about all the different ponies.

I know I’ll be stocking up on a few to keep as birthday presents for my daughter’s friends. Those that have come over to play with them so far have loved them!
