I sincerely can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a dishwasher. Which is good, because I haven’t found a dish soap that I’m not allergic to. Sad for me, aren’t you? Luckily, there are dishwashers that do the work for you, and Cascade Platinum Pacs do the scrubbing to save your manicure. We currently live in a condo, that came with a dishwasher that’s a little on the older side. We’ve struggled through years (and our wallets) to find the right dishwasher soap that works the best in our machine. I can’t tell you how many brands we’ve tried. I’m a huge makeup junkie, and rarely go without it. My absolute FAVORITE brand of makeup is Mary Kay. Pucker up in a bold red lip inspired by Scarlett Johansson:

• Apply Mary Kay Liquid Eyeliner in Black along the top lash line and wing outward.
• Generously coat top and bottom lashes with Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara in Black
• Line lips with Mary Kay Lip Liner in Clear. Apply Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick in Sizzling Red directly from the tube, using a lip brush if needed. Blot with Mary Kay Beauty Blotters and reapply for intense, long-lasting wear
• Apply Mary Kay Luminous-Wear Liquid Foundation and contour using Mary Kay Mineral Bronzing Powder in Sandstone

Turn heads with defined eyes and a neutral lip inspired by Anna Kendrick:

• Begin with Mary Kay TimeWise Matte-Wear Liquid Foundation then dab Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Sparkling Cider on the apples of the cheeks
• Apply Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in White Lilly to the eyelid and up to the brow bone, then blend Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Silver Satin onto the eyelid up to the crease
• Apply Mary Kay Mineral Eye Color in Coal to the outer corner of the eye to create a smoky effect then line top and bottom lashes with Mary Kay Eyeliner in Black and smudge with a Mary Kay smudger brush
• Generously apply two coats of Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara in Black
• Line lips with Mary Kay Lip Liner in Neutral. Apply Mary Kay True Dimensions Lipstick in Natural Beaute to complete the look.

I remember as a little girl sitting listening to my dad’s old Rod Stewart record Footloose and Fancy Free it had Hot Legs on it. I listened to it for YEARS. I loved Rod Stewart.  So I have listened to him over the years. I was thrilled when he finally released a new album after 20 years. Let me tell you it was worth the wait.

I am in love with this album I just can’t get enough of it. I love how heartfelt and raw it is. How honest it is. You can feel him in each of these songs and that is what makes him a true artist. I believe it is his best yet.

It isn’t the typical Rod Stewart music but if you love Rod Stewart you will love this one and if you aren’t a fan you very well could become one with this album.

My personal favorite is ‘It’s Over’. It is talking about divorce- and how it is affecting him and his kids. Gosh, you can feel it! It gave me chills the first time I heard it, and honestly every time I listen to it I have tears running down my face. I also love She Makes Me Happy.  There isn’t a song on here I don’t like, which is rare for an album. It is just that good of a CD! I am thrilled that Rod Stewart is back at it again and I can’t wait to hear what he is up to next.You can purchase the album from iTunes and Amazon.
