Powerful (and seriously- they’re powerful. I don’t need my hearing aids with these babies) 8.5mm neodymium driver units provide awesome sound for anyone and makes background noise nearly non-existant. The design is an in-ear canal headphone for truly superior sound. Yes, I know it sounds funny coming from a hard-of-hearing gal, but these things really do work. The gold-plated plug is also iPhone compatible for those of you with the ever-so-popular smart phone.

And are a very reasonable $14.95 when you order them from the JVC site. They are also extremely comfortable to wear, which was a total surprise to me. Even after all the ear surgeries I’ve had, they don’t irritate my skin at all!

I have the red and white combo, because a girl has to root for her CINCINNATI REDS!

Alright moms, admit it.

Shower time can be scarce with kiddos running around, and it seems that you take care of everyone before you take time for yourself.

It’s okay.

We’re moms.

It’s what we do.

But there are little things out there that make our brief me-moments just a bit better.

And one of those things- is the WaterPik Medallion Shower Head.

With 5 different settings with a high/low center consentrated spray, circular massage, power spray/pulsating massage, water saver and misting there’s something for everyone’s taste.The spray mode selector is in the handle, which makes it easier to reach for those of us who are “vertically challenged”.

With it’s 5″ round shower head and 5′ hose, it’s a breeze to install and clean, even with hard water. The flow regulator is removable, but it does increase water flow (with OptiFlow technology) up to 30%, which is great for us, considering the lack of water pressure in our area.

The best part is that it looks nice. It’s chrome so it blends in with the rest of my hardware in the bathroom.

My husband loves it too. He really enjoys the fact that it sprays directly downwards so you get more “coverage”.

Needless to say, I try extra hard to get into the shower whenever I can because it’s truly relaxing!

One thing that my family strives to do is share our time together at the dinner table. No matter what’s going on, we make it a point to take that time out of our busy lives to eat and share what happened during the day. It’s a great way to connect and teach our daughter that family is #1.

I think it’s no secret that I am an ice-cream fan. I’m sure if you’ve seen my waistline- it proves that fact.

But now, I have found ice cream that doesn’t wreak havoc on my diet-

Breyers Smooth & Dreamy!

And it’s oh-so-yummy!

Even my daughter loves it- and since it has NO artificial flavors or colors, I don’t feel guilty about giving them to her.

Now, what did I mean about nice on the waist?

The triple chocolate chip bars have just 130 calories and 6 grams of fat per bar. And these bars are HUGE. It’s not some measly portion that leaves you wanting more. They are completely satisfying! The triple chocolate chip also satisfies my major chocolate hankering. Mmmmmm! This one is definitely my family’s favorite!

And then, there’s the Vanilla Fudge Brownie ice cream Sandwich. Hello HEAVEN! It’s still a great portion size, but with only 160 calories and 4 grams of fat per ice cream sandwich- it’s your answer to any great ending to the day!

There are other flavors too, but I haven’t picked them up yet. If you do, will you please let me know how they are? I’m sure they’re delicious because they’re the Breyers Smooth & Dreamy, but I would love your opinion!

It’s one of the most weird AMAZING things you will ever hear.

I laugh and love it every time, and M (who’s 4) loves it too!

Okay, so the soundtrack isn’t all about Ms. Minnelli.

It also features the amazingly talented Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis and Dido (LOVE HER!)!

This is one of the best albums I’ve listened to in awhile, because it’s not only feel-good girl-power (“I am Woman” anyone?), but it showcases some of the best voices of our generation.

So if you’re in the market for some new music, check this album out. You won’t be disappointed.
