Well…

They’ve reached their one million- on March 9th!

So what does that mean?

And guess what? I was one of those people.

Monday, March 8th- Rosemary pork chops with potato wedges

Tuesday, March 9th- Stouffer’s Mac and cheese (this was a Savvyblogging coupon) and steamed veggies. I will not be enjoying this meal, as I will be at our Women’s Soup and Bread Supper at our church.

Wednesday, March 10th- Frozen pizza night! Again, this day is going to be crazy!

Thursday, March 11th- Oven baked chicken, green beans and au gratin potatoes.

Friday, March 12th- Fish. Of some sort. It’s a little too early to plan this one.

Saturday, March 13th- J’s mouth-watering Ribs (we’re having friends over, so they are providing the sides)

Sunday, March 14th- Leftovers. Or whatever we have in our pantry.

Now, on with the show!

Monday (today)- Chili- Pretty yummy. It was a little spicy though, because we went a little overboard with the Crazy Uncle Jester’s Spontaneous Combustion sauce. It was good, but just spicy.

Tuesday- Tacos and mexican-style rice- This was a no-brainer. I made it, it was that easy. Plus, Kroger had them on sale for $2 for the taco-dinner packs. You can’t beat that.

Wednesday- Pizza (most likely frozen, as this is one of the busier nights of the week for us) Frozen pizza was Red Baron and super, super yummy. It was also on sale at Kroger this week (cheaper than the Digourno’s)

Thursday- Oven-fried chicken and roasted potatoes Okay, So we didn’t have this. We had pizza pockets for dinner. Thursday was insane. M had a Kids Cuisine, I had a free coupon for one from Blissdom. How awesome is that?

Friday- Fish sticks for M, Battered fish (from the frozen section- I know, I’m getting all fancy on you)- We TOTALLY fell off the wagon. I had a mini-melt down because M threw up all over the car and I missed a very important doctor’s appointment. J asked me what I wanted and I said McDonald’s. There. I told the truth. Liberating? No. Embarrassing? Yes. On the plus side, it only costed us $13.49. Which is a lot cheaper than we pay for eating out at Texas Roadhouse (or the Melting Pot).

Saturday-Homemade sauce (made by my fabulous Italian hubby in the morning) Chicken Parmesan THIS WAS AMAZING!! We bought the chicken breasts on sale, and sliced them in half so that we’d have enough for Sunday leftovers. It was even better the second day.

Sunday- Meatball subs- Like I said, we had leftovers, so no meatball subs were made.

For one, my CVS Pharmacy still cannot locate my insurance card, and they still can’t find Mia’s either. Um, I kinda need those.

My depression has gotten to it’s lowest point. So, I thought I’d go see one of my therapists, ya know, the big one. He’s the expensive one, so I only break him out when the going gets really tough.

And guess what?

I never made it to see him this morning.

Why?

On our way to the baby sitter’s M was complaining of a tummy ache.

So I asked her if she needed the puke bag (yes, I keep a puke bag in the car. I’m a mom. It’s what we do) and she said no.

So I ask her again, “M… do you need to puke?”

“No mommy, I just have a tummy ache”

“M, are you sure? I can get it for you”

“No mommy, I don’t need to puke”

PUUUUUUUKE

All over her.

All over the car.

All over the car seat.

And all she had to do was tell me she needed the puke bag.

Is it spring yet?

This is my beautiful and talented friend Jenny (never call her Jennifer)- a local Dayton girl and blogger at Momminitup.com! I am so blessed to know her!

I am writing to let you know, that we are in a fight.

Why?

Because your pharmacy LOST my insurance cards.

Uh huh. Yeah, I know. I can’t believe it either.

What’s “funny” (and I say that with dripping sarcasm) is that I transferred all of my prescriptions there because I was happy with the customer service I received last week regarding an over-the-counter question.

Talk about bait-and-switch!

And then, when I call this afternoon to check on the status of my lost cards, you tell me to call my insurance company to get new cards.

UM NO.

It’s not my fault you lost my insurance cards.

You should be tearing that place apart looking for them.

It’s my personal information.

It’s not okay. Mmmmkay?

GAH.

Can you tell I’m frustrated?

Well, I am. Because my kid is sick.

And her doctor requires that we show our insurance cards every time we come in.

See where I’m going with this?

Yeah. I’m mad.

So, CVS pharmacy- I suggest you put a little more effort into finding my insurance cards.

Because losing my insurance cards- is not okay.

I think that anyone that knows me, knows that I looooove me some Kroger! It’s the only grocery store I shop at, because of the awesome deals and customer service (big SHOUT OUT to my meat-guy Chris!)!

Well, guess what? Kroger is getting. That. Much. More. Awesome.
