Recently, Ragu gave me the opportunity to host another party for myself, family and friends. So I did what I did last time- I organized a small Facebook group to ask my friends what they wanted to do.
Their answer amazed me. It made me so proud to know these women.
They wanted to bless two struggling families with a very Ragu Christmas instead of having a party.
A few days before (or when we’re in that last minute rush of Christmas eve) we sit down at our kitchen to make a batch of Reindeer Christmas Feed.
It’s one part oatmeal, to one part sugar crystals and Christmas nonpareils (sprinkles). You sprinkle this “magic” food on your lawn, the magic glitter sparkling in the moonlight and smell of oats will lead Rudolph right to your home! M loves it, and it’s a craft everyone can enjoy!
This weekend, I was blessed to host a small party in my home sponsored by Hickory Farms (An Ohio company that I LOVE! Make sure you check them out on Facebook too) and Mom Central! I invited 10 of my friends over to celebrate the holidays by snacking on some great food!
Yes, I went “dorky fan-girl” on him. It was a pleasure meeting Herman Cain, and I’m thankful for the chance to listen to him speak. Whatever your opinion of him, if you have the chance to talk to him- you’d see and hear the love he has for his family and his country. Don’t believe everything you read/hear from the media.
