Bob Evans’ Broasted Chicken- The Best on the Block! With Giveaway!

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Bob Evans. I received gift cards to facilitate my dining experience and to thank me for participating.

My family and I love Bob Evans A LOT. We love their atmosphere, their service, and most importantly the food! We are very choosy about the places we eat out at, and consider Bob Evans one of our top choices because of not only the afore mentioned, but it fits well within our budget. It’s a very welcoming restaurant with a “homy” feel. I mean, just look at the mailbox!

When Mom Central Consulting contacted me to review Bob Evans’ Broasted Chicken Dinner, I JUMPED at the chance! My family and I were so excited, even the pickiest of eaters ::cough::the child::cough::

They’re not excited. Nope, not one bit.

You might notice in the pic that there’s a banner featuring Bob Evans Meals To Go. We’ve done that several times (Sorry family, all those pumpkin pies you thought I baked? Totally Bob Evans To Go). You can order your meals online, and it’ll be ready for you when you request! The three-piece Bob Evans Broasted Chicken Dinner is only $9.99 and includes a starter, entrée, dessert and your choice of endless bread. I had the salad (which was HUGE) and the hubs had Bob Evans’ creamy broccoli cheese soup (that the kiddo -aka picky eater- ate most of).

Within the past couple months, Bob Evans introduced their broasted chicken dinner to their customers in select locations. The chicken is marinated and then hand-coated in a blend of special spices (I tried to get the recipe- no dice). It’s pressure fried it until it’s the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. And when they say juicy, they mean it! We also chose the hot rolls as our endless bread, and we were so glad we did! They were delicious.

The lighting was crazy, we were seated by a window.

I’m not a huge fan of gravy, but the hubs is, so he went for it, and was very impressed. He is very much a “foodie” and couldn’t stop raving about his dinner, which speaks volumes! Kiddo was super excited they had it on the kids menu, so she got her own little drumsticks just like mom and dad.

Big kid meal, complete.

When dessert rolled around, we went with the warm chocolate chip cookie and the chocolate bread pudding with chocolate sauce, frosting, and whipped cream. Talk. About. Decadent. Between the three of us, we had a tough time finishing them. There was so much food!

And like I mentioned above, the entire three courses are ONLY $9.99! Don’t believe me- check out our receipt:
