Laundry tip Thursday!

Okay, so it’s more like “tips” as in more than one, but that just made the title sound weird.

It’s been awhile since I’ve shared any of my Domestic Debacles, so I thought I would share them in “tip form”.

Kind of a “do as I say, not as I do” grouping.

I’ll go ahead and say this in advance: You’re welcome.

  • Check pockets for pens, crayons, tissues and coins. All of these things can cause your washer to go ka-put on you. Individually or apart, crayons, pens and tissues are a pain to clean up after as well.
  • Check all clothing for stickers. I’m sure you can imagine why (getting sticker residue baked in your favorite top by your dyer will make you cry- and even more so when it’s on the back of your shirt left by your loving 5 year-old as a “joke”.).
  • Pre-treat. Pre-treat. Pre-treat. And depending upon the stain (hello, melted butter!) repeat.

I would love to hear what you do to keep your laundry Debacles in “check”- please share! And if you’ve written about it recently, be sure to add the link to your comment!
