Sharing an update on “Food Guilt”!

Since I shared with you my issues with food and weight, I made a significant change in my life.

I started using the gym 5 days a week and started watching my calorie intake.

It’s tough to make those changes at first, but then your body starts to actually crave them. And in all honestly, that hard work is totally worth it.

I can already tell a difference in my shape. And I’ve already lost 4.8 pounds! Not bad for 13 days, right? I’m just a *little* excited. 😉

I’m a firm believer in eating what you like, but making up for it elsewhere. I’ve been using the Lose It! App (thanks to Jenni for the recommendation!) for the iPhone. It’s pretty accurate as far as I can tell and really user friendly.

You can customize a weight loss plan that’s right for you that includes exercise or not. And it’s free.

What’s better than free?

Luckily, I’m not a fan of sweets, so that’s one area I don’t have to be concerned about. BUT- and that’s a big but- I love to have a glass of wine a couple times a week. And that can lead to a lot of calories. So I’ve really tried to cut that down. I have about 3-4 ounces once a week now instead of 6 ounces every few days.
