One thing I can get behind, is a company who supports good causes.
And Hanes, is one of those brands.
Hanes has partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, a program that empowers women to fight breast cancer by by joining forces in teams and showing support by wearing pink for a day. The teams raise money that supports research and life-saving community outreach projects. It’s really incredible what these people do.
Hanes is also the 2010 official T-Shirt of the Komen Race for the Cure Series, the world’s largest and most successful series of 5k walks and runs. The series has reached more than 1.6 million people and the event has raised more than $100 million to support local communities and national research. This year, the Komen Race for the Cure® Series has 127 events planned in the US and 14 overseas, and will be organized by an incredible force of more than 100,000 volunteers.
And one of those famous people supporting this cause is Melina Kanakaredes. She’s amazing. And she’s designed her very own PINK t-shirt for Hanes. I was lucky enough to receive one of these t-shirts, and am very proud to wear it.
So if you would like to find out more about the cause, and purchase one of these cute t-shirts, visit their site to learn more.
To really participate, head to their Facebook Page and support this great cause there. I’ve liked it. I hope you do too.
