So shortly after the BBB event, we headed over to Mickey’s Toon Town to see Tinkerbell and Friends. The sign said the wait to see the pixies was 20 minutes.
It was actually 90 minutes. Make sure you ask a cast member to verify that the sign is correct. Lesson learned, Disney. Kthanks.
So even though the wait was crazy-long, it ends up being worth it. I do not want to giveaway any special things here, but let’s just say, the wait was cool. And you spend a lot of time interacting with the 5″ crowd.
Now, you’re probably thinking, “just get to it Debacle, why did Tink almost get her lights knocked out?”. Well, its because she got into it with M. In one of her “moods”. Remember this mood? Well, it pales in comparison. I thought we were going to get kicked out of the park with the BOLO “for a 4 ft tall Cinderella with bloody fists”
Why? M showed Tink her newly painted nails.
Then all H-E-L-L broke loose.
Here’s the conversation:
Tink: “Hi M! I love your nails, what pretty berry juice!”
M:”Um, Tink, hate to tell you this, but it’s just nail polish.”
Tink: “Right, but it’s made with berry juice”
M: “No, it’s nail polish”
Tink: “Right, with berry juice”
M: “NO TINKERBELL. IT’S NOT BERRY JUICE. IT’S NAIL POLISH. IT COMES IN A JAR.”
Tink: “Made of berry juice.”
M: “TINK. I’VE TOLD YOU ONCE. IT’S JUST NAIL POLISH, IT JUST IS!!”
I think what set M off the most, was that Tink was laughing the whole time, probably thinking about how she was going to tell all the other fairies in the bar about the peeved princess after work. It’s what I would have done. For sure.
At this point, SilverMist hears the commotion and comes over for the rescue, ’cause my 4 year-old dressed as Cindy is ready for a beat down.
Then M relayed the whole situation to SilverMist. And then gave her a lecture about stealing things from REAL people (there’s “stuff” all over room- just go and see what I’m talking about, you won’t be dissapointed). I don’t know where my kid gets this from. All I know, is that she’s pretty much against the whole fairy race.
And here’s Fawn: Who knew her place and was sweet as pie to M
And guess what- we made it out alive. I’m not sure if we’ll be visiting the fairies any time soon.
